The students of Grade 10 had an enriching and inspiring learning experience during their educational visit to the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST). The excursion provided valuable exposure to the practical applications of science and technology beyond the classroom.
During the visit, students explored a range of modern laboratories and academic facilities. They began with the ICT laboratory, where they observed advanced computing systems and learned about the vital role of technology in today’s digital world. The experience helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications.
Students also visited the biology laboratory, gaining firsthand insight into experimental methods and practical investigations, which enhanced their understanding of life sciences. In addition, they explored specialized laboratories in physics, chemistry, electronics, and engineering, all designed to support hands-on learning, innovation, and research.
The excursion broadened students’ academic perspectives and encouraged them to explore future career paths in science and technology. It reinforced the importance of experiential learning in nurturing curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry among young learners.
